Digicel Trinidad offers a variety of easy ways to Top Up your Prepaid account. Choose the most convenient method for you, based on your type of account, lifestyle and personal preference
Card Top Up
Convenience in a card! Top Up cards are readily available all around the island.
- Scratch off the dark strip covering the voucher number with a coin
- Dial from your mobile phone: *121* the voucher number and press #(e.g. *121*1234567890123#)
- Then press "SEND"
- Look at the phone screen for a message telling you whether the top up was successful.
To check your account balance:
- Dial *120#
- Then press “SEND"
- Check your phone screen for your current balance.
Electronic Top Up
E-card vouchers, one of the most convenient ways to add credit! Available at many convenient locations throughout Trinidad and Tobago
- Pay the dealer the value of your desired voucher
- Dial from your mobile phone: *121* the voucher numbers #(e.g. *121*1234567890123#)
- Then press "SEND"
- Look at the phone screen for a message telling you whether the top up was successful.
To check your account balance:
- Dial *120#
- Then press “SEND"
- Check your phone screen for your current balance.
Top U Up
Top up the Prepaid account of family and friends, from a mobile handset using a Top Up voucher or e-Card.
- Dial *125* + 11-digit receiving mobile number followed by #key.
- Wait for the confirmation message
- Then dial *125* + 13-digit voucher pin and # key to complete the Top U up.
- Both sending and receiving users get a confirmation message.
To check your account balance on the receiving handset:
- Dial *120#
- Then press “SEND"
- Check your phone screen for your current balance.
Both Digicel postpaid and prepaid customers can send credit with Top U Up, but only Digicel prepaid customers can receive credit this way.
There is no charge for the service.
Credit U
Credit U allows you to transfer credit from your own Postpaid or Prepaid account to the Prepaid account of friends and family using your mobile handset.
- Dial *128* + 11-digit receiving mobile number* + amount followed by # key. E.g. (*128*18681234567*75#)
- Wait for the confirmation message
- Then dial *128*1# to confirm or *128*2# to cancel.
- Both sending and receiving users receive a confirmation message.
To check your account balance on the receiving handset:
- Dial *120#
- Then press “SEND"
- Check your phone screen for your current balance.
Both Digicel prepaid and postpaid customers can send credit with Credit U, but only Digicel prepaid customers can receive credit this way. Corporate customers are not allowed to use this service.
There is a .35c charge for sending a Credit U transfer but no charge to receive.
Note: Never send credit to a mobile number you do not know.Credit Me
Credit Me allows you to send a request from your Prepaid phone to the Prepaid and Postpaid accounts of friends and family for top up credit. You can even send a Credit Me while roaming.
- Dial *127* + 11-digit receiving mobile number* + amount followed by # key. E.g. (*127*18681234567*75#)
- Wait for the confirmation message that your request was sent.
- The recipient will receives a message stating the mobile number and amount requested.
- The recipient can then use Credit U to honor the request by dialing *128*18681234567*75#.
- If the request is honored, you will receive a confirmation message with the amount received and your current balance.

Direct Top Up allows Digicel prepaid subscribers to visit specified retail outlets, pay the cashier the amount requested and the top up value is sent directly to their phone. No vouchers, no pins. Customers can purchase any variable value (e.g. $12, $33, $74 etc) and are not restricted to specific denominations. A receipt is generated from the terminal confirming the amount of top up sent.
Direct Top ups are quick, simple and convenient:
- Customer visits the retail outlet offering Direct Top-Up.
- Provides the cashier with the mobile number to be topped up (either verbally or this can be written on a simple slip provided at the outlet
- Cashier receives the payment and punches in the mobile number on the terminal
- Top up is sent directly to the customer’s phone.
- Customer receives a text message confirming the value of the top.
- A printed receipt is generated by the terminal and handed to the customer.
Easy Top Up
Digicel prepaid subscribers can pre-register their credit cards at specified Digicel flagship outlets, to enable them to request top up at any time from their handset using a short code *190.
There is no charge to use Easy Top up. Your credit card will be charged for the exact amount of the top up received.
To register, visit a Digicel flagship store, fill in the Easy Top Up registration form and swipe your credit card in the Point of Sale terminal in-store.
Registration steps :
- Visit a specified retail outlet (Digicel flagship stores).
- Fill in and sign the Easy Top Up registration form (up to eight (8) mobile nos. can be entered on one registration form).
- Present valid ID (id card, driver’s permit or passport).
- Swipe your credit card in specified Point of Sale terminal.
- Enter Mobile number to be registered.
- Enter 4-digit passcode to be used to authenticate each top up request.
- A printed receipt is generated from the terminal, and a text message confirming registration is sent to your phone.
After registration, to request top up simply type:
*190*amount# e.g. To request $55 type *190*55#
- A message will be displayed on your phone: ‘Please enter your password’
- User should then press: ‘Enter’, type in password e.g. 1234 and press send/talk
- Another message will be received: ‘Please confirm your top up for TTD $55
- Proceed
- Cancel’
- Phone will display: ‘Processing top up for TTD $55. Ref Number is (649). Your confirmation text message will follow shortly.’
- You will receive a text confirmation: ‘Your top up request Ref No (123) was successful. Your balance is now TTD $436.10.’
