1. What is Prepaid Bundles about?

2. How do I sign up for a Prepaid Bundle of my choice?
· Prepaid Subscribers would be able to access the bundles via the same USSD codes that is currently set up for post-paid subscribers: i.e*221# for Digi Caribbean minutes and *200# for International minutes
Example for sign up for each plan:
· Digi International Bundle message after the customer dials *200#

4. Can I use my Digi Caribbean bundle to call Digi landline numbers?
· No, this is only applicable to Digicel Caribbean mobile numbers.
 
5. Can I use my International bundle to contact landline International numbers?
· You can use your International bundle for the below:
– US  Mobile  and landline numbers
– Canada Mobile  and landline numbers
– UK landlines numbers ONLY

6. Does my prepaid bundle subscription/s roll over if I have any unused portion of bundles?
· No, unused portion of bundles from your prepaid subscriptions do NOT roll over.

7. Can I Query the plan expiry date at any time?
· Yes. Prepaid subscribers would be able to check their bundle sizes with *120*5#  for Digi Caribbean Bundle and *120*6# for International Bundles

8. What if my prepaid bundle minutes are depleted, can I renew?
· Yes. If a person's bundle is depleted before the set expiry date; then they can buy the same bundles again, at the same price.

9.  Will the International Jive promotion be applicable within the International prepaid Bundle minutes?
· Customers will not be able to take advantage of the International Jive promotion once they have signed up for the International prepaid bundle.
 
9. How Do I renew my prepaid bundle plan?
· All plans will renew automatically unless a customer opts out before. Customers will receive a TEXT MESSAGE  advising them that the plan will be ending within 48 hours AND THEN 24HOURS (2 MESSAGES RECEIVED) and they can dial a specific code to opt out- this code will be provided in TEXT MESSAGE
Example of Renewal messages:
International Bundle
– Your subscription to 50 International minutes will automatically be renewed on 2011/12/01 16:10. To terminate automatic renewal dial *200*9*8400#.
– Your subscription to 50 International minutes was extended and will expire on 2011/12/06 16:48.
Caribbean Bundle
– Your subscription to 100 Digi Caribbean Minutes will automatically be renewed on 2011/12/01 18:00. To terminate renewed dial *221*9*15#.
– Your subscription to 100 Digi Caribbean Minutes was extended and will expire on 2011/12/29 18:19.

10. Can I use bonus credit to sign up for any of the bundles?
· No, bonus credit cannot be used to sign up for any of the bundles
 
11. Can I sign up for more than one bundle?
· Yes, a customer can sign up for 2 different bundles at the same time. Eg a  Caribbean bundle and an International bundle at the same time
· Customers, however, cannot sign up for two of the same plans at the same time. Eg. Digi Caribbean 50 and Digi Caribbean 100 bundle.
 

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. Agreement
These terms and conditions shall govern the relationship between Digicel (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”  “Digicel” and “the Company”) and the user (hereinafter referred to as “you”, “your” “the Customer”) of Digicel’s bundles or extras (hereinafter referred to as  the “Extra” or the “Extras”) and shall constitute legal and binding obligations on the parties once the Customer requests an Extra from his/her mobile. These Extras terms and conditions are supplementary to the Digicel prepaid Terms and Conditions (“the Agreement”) (whichever is applicable) and for the purposes of these terms and conditions the Extras shall be deemed to be part of the Service under the Agreement. Where any conflict arises between these terms and conditions and the Agreement with respect to the Extras these terms and conditions shall prevail. We reserve the right to amend or unilaterally change the Extras and/or these terms and conditions subject to notifying you of such amendments by way of advertisement in the national media, SMS/text messaging and/or our website. If the Extras are used after such notice, then the amendment shall be deemed to have been accepted by you. These terms and conditions are governed by the Laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

2. Service Description
Extras allow prepaid Customers to  purchase bundles to cater to their specific needs and usage patterns as described herein.

3. Subscriptions and Tariffs
All  prepaid Customers are eligible to subscribe to an Extra subject to the following: 

(i) Prepaid Customers must have sufficient credit on their account to cover the tariffs set out below;
(ii) Extras are not available to corporate customers.
· Once the above criteria are satisfied, the Customer can dial the relevant USSD code (set out in the table below), from their mobile handset to subscribe to an Extra. Customers will then receive a SMS/text message with instructions on selecting and subscribing to the Extra.
· Once the activation is complete, a final confirmation SMS/text message will be sent to the Customer advising of the activation of the Extra.
· Customers can only be subscribed to one Extra at any given time.

5. Tariffs
· The relevant tariff for the Extra as described in the above table in clause 4 herein (“Tariffs”) will be deducted from the Customer’s prepaid account balance when the Customer subscribes to the Extra. If there is an insufficient credit balance on a prepaid account to cover the Tariff then the Extra will not be activated.
· The Tariffs also form part of these terms and conditions. Digicel reserves the right to alter such Tariffs and will notify the Customer of such a change by notice in writing via advertisement in the national mediaor via SMS text messaging and/or via our website. The Tariffs described herein are VAT exclusive.

6. Service  Period
· The Extras will be valid for use throughout the selected service period as described in the above table in clause 4 herein, from the time of subscription by the Customer to the Extra, subject to the terms and conditions set out herein (“the Service Period”).
· The Service Period will start from the time of day that the Extra is activated. For instance, if the prepaid International Voice 50 minutes Extra is activated at 9:00 a.m. it will be deactivated at 8:59 a.m. seven (7) days thereafter.
· All Extras shall automatically renew at the end of the Service Period. Customers must have sufficient credit on his/her account to cover the renewal subscription and/or not have exceeded his/her credit limit at the end of the current Service Period in order for the automatic renewal subscription to take effect. Customers will receive two (2) SMS/text message (one (1) twenty-four (24) hours and the other forty-eight (48) hours prior to the expiration time of the current Service Period of the Extra) reminding the customer of the expiration time and providing instructions on how to cancel their subscription to the Extra.
· Customers can only cancel their subscription to an Extra in the last forty-eight (48) hours of the Service Period, at which time the Customer will receive the aforementioned SMS/text message reminding him/her of the option to cancel their subscription prior to the expiration of the current Service Period for the Extra. Whenever a Customer cancels a subscription to an Extra, the cancellation will only take effect at the end of the relevant Service Period. For the avoidance of doubt once the Customer subscribes to an Extra he/she cannot cancel the existing subscription for the remainder of that Service Period.
· Prepaid Customers may renew their subscription to an Extra during an existing Service Period provided that all the existing minutes of the current Extra have been depleted.

7. Usage
· Any minutes not used within the Service Period shall not roll over or accumulate for usage after the expiry of the Service Period.
· Minutes cannot be transferred to another account or other subscribers.
· International Voice Minutes Extra: these minutes can be used at any time during the Service Period for international calls to landlines in the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland.
· Digi- Caribbean Voice Minutes Extra:  these minutes can be used at any time during the Service Period for calls to Digicel mobile numbers in the following territories :
- Anguilla
- Antigua and Barbuda
- Aruba
- Barbados
- Bermuda
- Bonaire
- British Virgin Islands
- Cayman Islands
- Curacao
- Dominica
- French Guiana
- Grenada
- Guadeloupe
- Martinique
- St. Kitts
- St. Lucia
- St. Vincent and the Grenadines
- Turks and Caicos. 
· Customers may check the expiry date for their Extra by dialling the USSD code *XXX*779# where “XXX” represents the USSD code assigned to each Extra in the table in clause 4 herein. Customers may also check the number of minutes remaining on the Extra by dialling the USSD code *120*5# and *120*6#. In each, case Customer will receive a reply by SMS/text message informing him/her of the expiry date or number of remaining minutes as applicable.

8. Roaming
Digicel’s roaming rates as amended from time to time, will apply when the Customer is roaming.  For the avoidance of all doubt, the tariffs for the Extras only apply to usage in Trinidad & Tobago.

9. Fair usage
Digicel reserves the right to terminate the Extra forthwith and without notice if in its sole opinion the Extra is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to the following:-
A) Commercial use of the Extra;
B) Use of the Extra for profit or financial gain;
C) Open circuits without voice conversations;
D) Circuits being used for data transmission and/or non-voice communication;
E) Restricting or inhibiting any other customer from using the service; 
F) Any breach of the Customer Obligations as set out herein;
G) Any use by the Customer that is intended to or results in or is likely to bypass the service;
H) Reselling the service to any third party, without the prior express written consent of Digicel. Breach of this provision may result in immediate suspension of the Extra; and
I) Any use deemed by  Digicel to degrade the service quality on the network or otherwise interfere with or undermine the Digicel network.
- Digicel expressly reserves the right to take such legal action as is permissible against any Customer/user engaging in bypass of the service or any other fraudulent activity on the network.

10. Customer Obligations
In addition to the obligations under the Agreement, Customers agree to:
A) Abide by all these terms and conditions for use of the Extra as outlined herein;
B) Comply with laws and regulations governing the Digicel network ;
C) Utilize the Extra for personal use only and not for commercial and/or business purposes;
D) Not bypass the service or engage in any act that is likely to result in bypass of the service;
E) Immediately report and confirm in writing, loss, theft, damage of handset and/or SIM Card preventing your use of the Extra;
F) Comply with all reasonable requests by us, or others on our behalf, particularly in relation to the investigation of fraud or other offences or as required by law or in legal proceedings. Should Digicel deem it necessary to enforce its rights hereunder in any legal action you will reimburse the Company for all costs and expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees as a result of such legal action.
G) Be solely responsible for keeping his/her mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through his/her mobile handset. Any request made for the Service via the use of an USSD code from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the Customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorised use of a Customer’s handset.
