Customers have to spend 3 minutes on one call to avail of the next 60 minutes free.
- Can you explain the new changes to the promotion please?
The following changes have been made to the Free After 3 promo:
- Free after 3 mins applies to Digicel-Digicel calls 24/7
- For calls to other local networks Free After 3mins will only be applicable during evening and weekends. It is no longer applicable during peak weekday hours 6am to 6pm
- All other conditions will remain the same
- Why was this change made to the promotion?
- Digicel is dedicated to continuously offering its customers the best value for their money. Our customers presently enjoy the lowest rates on our network and benefit from value promotions such as the recently launched Free Nights and Free $20 Top Up.
- What are the time bands for evenings and weekends to qualify for Free After 3 to other local networks?
- The time bands for qualifying for Free after 3 are as follows
- Evenings: Monday to Friday 6pm – 6am
- Weekends: Midnight Friday – Midnight Sunday
- Have any changes been made to the other promotions?
- No. Both our Free Nights and Free Top up promotions remain the same.
- Do the changes to Free After 3 affect qualifying for Free Nights?
- No
- How long will this promotion run for?
- This promotion will be valid until October 31st 2008.
- How will charging work if I qualify for both Free Nights and Free After 3?

- How does Free after 3 work for postpaid customers?
- The same. The promotion runs for prepaid and postpaid customers. If you have bundled minutes remaining and you make a 45 minute call you will just use 3 minutes of your bundled minutes. If you make calls outside your bundle you will just be charged for the first 3 minutes of each call.
- What if I have 3 bundled minutes before I am credit limit barred?
- If a customer has 3 minutes before they are credit limit barred they can use their bundled minutes and have access to the 60 minutes FREE on that call. After they use their 60 minute FREE talk they cannot take advantage of this offer.
- Can I still call abroad?
- Yes you can, but this will not apply to this promotion.
- What if I call a Digicel number that is roaming?
- Free After 3 would still apply as that call is made from Trinidad.
- What if I call a Digicel number at home whilst roaming?
- Free After 3 only applies when you make your calls from Trinidad & Tobago.
- Are calls to Directory Enquiries included?
- No this promotion only applies to local mobile and landline calls.
Free Nights Promotion Details
1. How does this promotion work?
- Make 2 three minute Digicel to Digicel calls during 6am-6pm on weekdays or on weekends and get FREE calls to any number on the Digicel network for the rest of that night from 10pm – 5am.
- Customers do not have to avail of this promotion every day, just whenever they want to qualify for Free Nights!!
2. How long is this promotion valid ?
- This promotion is valid until October 31st 2008
3. Does this apply to both weekends and weekdays?
- Yes. Customers have to make Digicel to Digicel calls for the required number of minutes to qualify for the free Digicel to Digicel calls on the same night during 10pm–5am.
4. Can I rollover calls to the next night?
- No. You will only receive free Digicel to Digicel calls during the night (10pm-5am) of the same day that you qualified on.
5. Is Free Nights available across all networks?
- No. Only Digicel to Digicel calls allow you to qualify and upon qualification, only Digicel to Digicel calls will be free at night.
6. If I attempt to qualify for the Free Nights on a call that starts with less than three minutes to go before 6pm ( e.g. 5:58pm), will this call count?
- No. You can only qualify for the FREE Nights promotion between the hours of 6am-6pm. Once you have crossed 6pm and have not yet accumulated your second 3 minutes of call time, you will not qualify for FREE Nights.
7. If I qualified for FREE NIGHTS and I am on a Digicel to Digicel call from 9:55pm – 10:05pm will the Free Nights apply?
- Yes, if you are in the middle of a Digicel call when you reach Free Nights time, then the billing system will automatically detect this and stop charging you from 10 p.m. onwards.
8. Can I take advantage of Free after 3 and Free nights?
- Yes, if you make a call for three minutes and qualify for free after three, automatically you have already completed one of your calls for qualifying for Free Nights. Simply dial *122# to verify!
9. Is this promotion for both prepaid and postpaid customers?
- Yes. Both prepaid and postpaid customers can qualify for free Digicel to Digicel calls between 10pm – 5am as long as they make 2 three minute duration Digicel to Digicel calls during the day (i.e. 6am – 6pm).
10. If I make calls to Digicel numbers in another country, (eg. Digicel Jamaica), do these calls count to help me qualify?
- The Free Nights promotion applies to calls made to Digicel Trinidad and Tobago mobiles only. Calls to Digicel numbers from other countries e.g. Digicel Jamaica are charged at regular rates and are not part of the promotion.
11. How do I check how many calls I have to make?
Simply type *133# and press ‘Send’ to countdown your calls remaining and see how many three minute calls you need to use before being able to qualify for Free Nights.

Message with no qualifying calls: 2 x three minute calls to any Digicel number between 6am and 6pm today remaining to qualify for free Digicel nights tonight (10pm – 5am)
Message after 1st qualifying call: 1 x three minute calls to any Digicel number between 6am and 6pm today remaining to qualify for free Digicel nights tonight (10pm – 5am)
Message after 2nd qualifying call: 0 x three minute calls to any Digicel number between 6am and 6pm today remaining to qualify for free Digicel nights tonight (10pm – 5am)
12. Do I need to register for Free Nights?
- No you don’t, our billing system will automatically detect when you have reached the number of calls required to qualify for Free Nights.
