The Promotion is ONLY applicable to International calls made to:-
1. USA
2. Canada
3. Digi Caribbean and
4. UK – landline numbers

N.B. Promotion is only applicable to calls made to landline numbers in the UK. Mobile numbers called in the UK DO NOT qualify.  Also Digicel Caribbean DOES NOT include Suriname and Guyana.
The following are Digicel Caribbean territories:
1. Anguilla
2. Antigua and Barbuda
3. Aruba
4. Barbados
5. Bonaire
6. BVI
7. Cayman
8. Curacao
9. Dominica
10. French Guiana
11. Grenada
12. Guadeloupe
13. Haiti
14. Jamaica
15. Martinique
16. St. Kitts
17. St. Lucia
18. St. Vincent and Grenadines
19. Turks and Caicos
 
The promotion only applies to prepaid and postpaid customers.  Corporate customers will not be able to avail of this promotion.

Customers pay for the first 5 minutes on all calls to the USA, Canada, Digicel Caribbean and Landline numbers in the UK and get the next 15 minutes free on that call.

Customers will only be able to receive the 15 minutes free once on a call.

Customers will be able to benefit from this promotion on evenings and weekends ONLY.


How does it work?
A customer makes a 20 minute call on an evening (6pm to 6am) or weekend to any number in:-
  USA
  Canada
  UK Landline
  Digicel Caribbean numbers
  The first 5 minutes of the call are chargeable and then the next 15 minutes on the call are free.

Anytime spent after the 15 free minutes are charged per min. Remember the customer only qualifies once per call.

For example – a customer calls any number in the USA and stays for 30 minutes. This customer would have been charged for the first 5 minutes of the call. From 5:01 00 to 20:00 00 would not be charged. The remaining 10 minutes would be charged. Resulting in 15 minutes of charges and 15 minutes of free talk.


N.B - customers will only receive free 15 minutes ONCE on a call


1. Will I be able to call international mobiles and benefit from this promotion?

 Yes, if the number is in the USA o,r Canada and Digicel Caribbean numbers. For calls to the UK the promotion would only apply if the call is to a landline. Remember Digicel Caribbean numbers also qualify.


2. If I hang up on my first international call and dial the number again, will I get that call free from the first minute?

 No.  You will be charged for the first 5 minutes of each new international call to the USA, Canada, Digicel Caribbean and landline number in the UK.  Hence if you hang up and call back or call another international number, you will be charged from the first minute of the new call.


3. Will I be able to benefit from this promotion while I am roaming?

 No.  All calls made and received while roaming will be charged at the relevant Digicel roaming rates for the country in which you are roaming.
 

4. I am a corporate customer; will I be able to benefit from this promotion?

No.  This promotion is applicable only to Prepaid and Postpaid customers.

 

5. Is this a service that I am required to subscribe to?

 No.  Once you are a Digicel prepaid or postpaid customer and you make a call to any number within the US, Canada, Digicel Caribbean and any landline number in the UK, you will automatically benefit from the promotion.

 

6. Are there any time band restrictions in which I can make these calls?

 Yes.  You will only benefit from this promotion on evenings and weekends during the promotional period .


7. How do I know I benefited from the promo?

 Each time a customer benefits from the promo they willl receive the below text after they have ended their call:

        “You have just enjoyed FREE international talk after the first 5 minutes of your last international call"




‘International Calls’ Terms and Conditions
  •   Customers talking for five (5) minutes on any international call to a US (landline or mobile), Canada (landline or mobile), United Kingdom landline or Digi-Caribbean* number will get the next fifteen (15) minutes free on that call subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
  •   Free after 5 minutes International applies only during Evening and Weekends as defined below:
      Evenings: Monday to Friday 6 p.m. – 6 a.m. on the following day
      Weekends: Midnight Friday – Midnight Sunday
  •   This promotion is not applicable during peak weekday hours 6am to 6pm and can be combined with any other promotion unless the terms and conditions of the latter state otherwise.
  •   This promotion is available to prepaid and postpaid subscribers but NOT to corporate postpaid subscribers.
  • This promotion applies only to calls placed from within Trinidad & Tobago.
  • This promotion has been extended until March 31st 2010
  • Customers will only receive fifteen (15) minutes free ONCE on a call. Any time spent on that call (i.e. the qualifying call) after the fifteen (15) free minutes will be charged at the regular prepaid or postpaid rates as applicable.
  • The  fifteen (free) minutes can only be used on the qualifying call. If a customer does not use full fifteen (15) free minutes, he/she will NOT receive the balance of the free minutes on the next international call made. 

    Subject to the above, normal prepaid and postpaid terms and conditions apply.
  • *Digi-Caribbean number means any Digicel mobile number in any of the following Digi Caribbean countries:
      Anguilla
